Pierced Form - Stellar

Hand built stoneware, pierced form, main body glazed with copper patina, piercing glazed with ultramarine, oxidation fired to 1230 degrees.
Frostproof - safe outdoors all year.

This has lived in my bedroom for some years and I’m very fond of it. The glaze fired in an interesting way and immediately put me in mind of the firmament and the infinity of the heavens
